Amboise
La Bourdaisiére is located east of Paris in the beautiful Loire region.
Because this region is close to Paris, many royalties and noblemen constructed summer residencies in this region.
You'll find a wide variety of renaissance châteaux in the region.
Amboise was one of the earliest Loire settlements and its château was built (or started) by Charles VIII. Leonardo da Vinci is buried here, in Chapel St. Hubert.
